At approximately 1527 EST, BCFR and BCEMS were dispatched to a car vs pedestrian. Upon arrival BCFR Engine 135 and Battalion 100 found a severely injured pedestrian, a heavily damaged vehicle and a lamp post that was on the verge of collapse. Chief Studsky called in Rescue 115 as backup.
Crews from the engine worked to assist the patient and help extricate the driver. Rescue 115 provided shoring to the lamp post to prevent it from collapse. The pedestrian has been transported to Brickford City General in critical condition. The driver of the car was not able to escape, but was not critically injured. Builders note: this was a blast to make. Not only was I able to use the new road plates, but this was the first scene with a lot of my custom printed tools and equipment. Used here are my struts, haligans and cones!
