I will always remember the day I learned about it. One day I asked my mom and dad why the flags were always at half mast on 9/11, they told me what had happened and told me to never forget it, and to pass on the story to the next generation. There were thousands of people that lost their lives that day. Thousands lost their lives in the towers, hundreds in the pentagon and hundreds more on the 4 planes. My mom and dad told me we need to remember them and their families too. Every year, on 9/11 I watch "9/11 - The firefighters story" it is a powerful reminder of the sacrifice that took place that day, and it is very humbling to see. Today, I am officially dedicating Truck 134 in memory of all those who lost their lives may they never be forgotten. Truck 134 is pictured here flying an American flag. (please note, the front outrigger is retracted to see the patch, this is not a mistake) They will be the only company in the city to have a custom company patch, pictured here: #neverforget911
